Production Data and Analytics Lead

Job Overview

The Production Data and Analytics Lead based in Siavonga is accountable for maintaining the integrity and continuous operation of production data reports. This role includes supervising the D&A Data Clerks, spearheading special projects to enhance data transparency and operational systems, and delivering comprehensive analyses of critical business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze critical organizational challenges utilizing verified, authoritative datasets.
• Assess the accuracy and quality of operational data, earmarking key improvement opportunities.
• Review monthly data analyses from team members, offering timely, positive, and constructive feedback.
• Perform detailed statistical examinations employing tools such as Excel and SQL.
• Lead data and analytics projects from conception through successful completion.
• Implement innovative and efficient solutions by optimizing current data tools or introducing new ones.
• Oversee external development teams to ensure software deliverables meet quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the data analytics team to achieve deadlines and high-quality output.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform including Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
• Programming and database querying skills in Python and SQL.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for productivity enhancements and deeper insights.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years experience involving database management, data analysis, or analytics roles.
• Experience conducting performance evaluations and providing employee feedback.
• Proven track record of applying analytics techniques to support business growth, including revenue enhancement.
• Knowledge of econometric analysis methodologies.
