The Product Marketing & Management team envisions the ideal experiences for our community, developing innovative solutions that delight both guests and hosts. By deeply understanding user needs, they craft strategies combining insightful product design, thorough research, and impactful go-to-market narratives. This team collaborates across engineering, design, operations, data science, marketing, and communications to bring shared visions to life with meticulous attention to detail.
Role Overview
As part of our Tickets team—a rapidly growing segment focused on attractions, tours, and live events—you will own the product roadmap and launches, driving feature success from conception to growth. This role involves close partnership with supply partners and shaping customer messaging to ensure a cohesive product voice, making a significant impact on how users explore and engage globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and continually refine the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Airbnb Tickets.
- Gather and analyze feedback from guests, hosts, and partners to inform product features and positioning.
- Create compelling external messaging and narratives for Tickets, clearly communicating value to guests, suppliers, and media outlets.
- Align product management, marketing, communications, and PMM teams to foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with attraction operators, tour providers, and live event suppliers focused on both supply acquisition and demand generation.
- Maintain the quality and health of the existing ticket storefront and listings.
- Model transparent communication and curiosity-driven behaviors within the team.
- Make prioritization and strategic decisions centered on user benefit.
- Efficiently execute to ship impactful products and deliver business outcomes.
Candidate Expertise
- At least 10 years of experience in product management and/or product marketing.
- Skilled in crafting product messaging and positioning, and successfully communicating it to customers and media.
- Strong domain knowledge in ticketing, travel, events, or marketplace sectors preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing marketplaces, including operator and supply-side tools, APIs, and integrations such as reservation/distribution systems and barcode/QR code validations.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation, converting ambiguous challenges into precise specifications aligning engineering, design, and partnerships.
- Understanding of backend ticketing data models, including ticket types, pricing classes, entitlements, and inventory relationships.
- Knowledge of inventory and availability management, including capacity, time slotting, holds, and real-time supply tracking.
- Adept at storytelling with a customer-centric approach, working with marketing and communication teams to bring narratives alive.
- Passion for building new businesses and delivering outstanding ticketing experiences to users.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional teams, building global consumer products or marketplaces that achieve widespread adoption.
- Entrepreneurial experience leading ideas to market launch and navigating dynamic environments.
- Experience managing consumer-facing products that generate significant revenue.
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making for product strategy and go-to-market plans.
- Thrives in fast-paced settings, balancing individual contributor tasks with leadership responsibilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, both within the U.S. and internationally.
Location and Employment Details
This role supports remote work across eligible U.S. states where Airbnb maintains registered entities. While primarily remote, occasional visits to Airbnb offices or offsite events may be required, coordinated with management.

Compensation and Benefits
The role’s base salary ranges from $200,000 to $240,000 USD annually. Additional compensation components may include bonuses, equity, benefits, and employee travel credits. Actual pay depends on various factors including experience, skills, and business needs.
