Pickl emphasizes delivering premium "fresh fast food" through dine-in and delivery options, operating across seven countries including the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, with plans to expand to Kuwait and Iraq.
Role Overview
The Procurement Manager position is full-time and stationed on-site in Dubai. This role entails overseeing the entire procurement process by sourcing ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies that align with Pickl’s standards for quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability. Responsibilities involve managing supplier evaluation and onboarding, handling purchase orders, monitoring inventory, guaranteeing timely deliveries to outlets, and supervising contract negotiations and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing and supplier evaluation.
- Oversee purchase orders, inventory tracking, and ensure supplies reach restaurants promptly.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain compliant, updated agreements.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and coordinate with operations, finance, and quality teams to enhance supply chain productivity.
- Track procurement KPIs and investigate cost-saving measures.
- Support Pickl’s regional growth by establishing reliable supplier partnerships in current and potential markets.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven experience handling procurement and supplier evaluation processes.
- Skilled in contract negotiation and contract management.
- Strong analytical capabilities for data interpretation and cost analysis.
- Experience in procurement within food and beverage or hospitality sectors, especially in fast-casual or quick-service contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, multitask, and collaborate across departments and countries.
- Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems; excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills considered a plus.
