Procurement Associate/Senior Associate - Procurement Services and Technology

About the Role

Join the Procurement Services and Technology team as an integral member of the procurement shared services function. Your key focus will be to manage sourcing events and oversee the complete supplier onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sourcing activities including RFI, RFQ, and RFP for purchases of low to medium complexity using the enterprise sourcing platform.
• Coordinate supplier invitations, handle communications, address supplier queries, and follow up during sourcing events.
• Assist with supplier onboarding by ensuring all registration, tax, and banking details are complete and accurate.
• Verify the quality of supplier data and resolve straightforward issues to avoid delays in purchase order generation and payments.
• Adhere strictly to procurement policies, standard operating procedures, and auditing standards throughout sourcing and onboarding.
• Manage large volumes of transactions efficiently while meeting tight deadlines and service level agreements.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams and suppliers regarding system usage and standard procurement processes.
• Spot recurring problems and escalate when necessary to enhance processes and minimize repetitive work.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in business, supply chain, procurement, or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred; fresh diploma holders with strong learning ability and aptitude will also be considered.
• A keen eye for detail alongside strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Process-oriented mindset with a focus on outcomes.
• Ability to adapt smoothly to evolving business environments.
• Familiarity with digital productivity tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or Ariba procurement systems.
