Position Overview
As a Procurement and Purchasing Manager, you will lead the Indirect Procurement Team and play a key role in optimizing procurement operations to support AUTODOC’s ongoing expansion and financial growth. Reporting directly to the VP of Accounting, Reporting, and Tax, you will manage a cross-European team of seven procurement professionals and spearhead initiatives including the multi-year SAP Ariba rollout, strategic vendor management using an ABC Vendor Strategy, and impactful contract negotiations focused on IT and Logistics sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide disciplinary and developmental leadership for a seven-member indirect procurement team, ensuring strong performance and growth.
- Drive the strategic implementation and expansion of SAP Ariba across the organization over multiple years.
- Develop and execute an ABC Vendor Strategy by identifying, onboarding, and managing preferred suppliers to streamline vendor relations.
- Lead contract negotiations and spend management efforts to optimize costs, primarily in IT and Logistics categories.
- Collaborate closely with various internal departments to align procurement actions with overall financial goals set by senior management.
- Continuously analyze procurement workflows and identify opportunities to implement efficient, digitalized processes.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Fluency in English, Polish, and German, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
- Strong analytical thinking, conceptualization, and negotiation expertise.
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving and strategic planning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and the capability to lead digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven leadership abilities managing teams and reporting directly to executive leadership.
