About the Role

This role offers a dynamic chance for an experienced data and reporting specialist to influence how evidence is collected, analyzed, and presented to aid decision-making in government sectors related to Sport and Racing.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of delivering high-quality performance reports by extracting and combining data from various sources, designing dashboards and report templates, and creating comprehensive reports.
• Lead efforts to develop, implement, and refine procedures and standards for data transformation and report creation.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to identify data needs and reporting requirements.
• Create and maintain systems, dashboards, and visualizations tailored for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Use programming skills to develop effective reporting solutions.
• Apply sophisticated analytical methods to detect trends, outliers, and the main factors influencing operational outcomes.
• Ensure all reporting activities maintain high data accuracy and integrity standards.
• Keep up-to-date with current best practices and new trends in data analysis and visualization.
• Enhance manual data processes by introducing automation and continuous improvements.
• Work with business leaders to define key performance indicators and develop visual data presentations that effectively communicate insights.
• Coordinate with the digital team and other departments to provide integrated solutions to data challenges.
• Support a positive workplace culture by promoting safety, health, diversity, respect, and inclusivity.
