Role Overview

Join Booker as a permanent van driver and picker, playing a crucial role in our delivery team to ensure exceptional customer service and timely deliveries. This position involves a mix of driving and picking responsibilities, supporting the overall delivery operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using hand-held terminals, reporting discrepancies to the Manager promptly.
• Inspect product quality, shelf life, and secure packaging to prepare items for delivery.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by efficiently processing deliveries according to targets.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy when interacting with delivery staff, handling queries and complaints appropriately, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer sites, ensuring all paperwork is completed precisely.

• A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional appearance at all times.
• Possession of a full driving licence is mandatory.
