Role and Responsibilities

  • Accurately and promptly dispense prescribed medications to patients.
  • Offer guidance and counselling to patients on correct medication usage, including possible side effects and drug interactions.
  • Verify prescriptions to ensure correctness and suitability considering patient health conditions and existing medication regimens.
  • Manage medication inventory efficiently, including proper storage and monitoring expiration dates.
  • Assess medication therapies' effectiveness and advise healthcare providers on necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant pharmacy laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in patient education initiatives and health awareness campaigns.
  • Stay informed on advancements in medications, treatment procedures, and pharmacy practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D from a recognized institution.
  • Possesses a valid license to practice as a pharmacist within the region.
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in pharmacology, medication management, and patient care techniques.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective interaction with patients and medical teams.
  • Is detail-focused and highly organized in managing responsibilities.
  • Familiar with pharmacy management software and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
  • Capable of handling a fast-paced work setting and multitasking efficiently.
