Overview
This role necessitates a qualified B.E. Mechanical engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience specializing in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting, while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance activities within the Pyro section encompassing Kiln, IKN Cooler, VRM – Pfeiffer, and ATOX systems.
- Plan and ensure uninterrupted availability of critical spare parts to maintain operational continuity.
- Perform root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implement remedial and improvement measures.
- Manage the Spare & Service (S&S) and Repair Parts Management (RPM) budgets effectively within the section.
- Optimize utilization of manpower and all available resources to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct R1/R2 and S1/S2 inspections and checks aligning with the preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain detailed equipment history records using SAP software.
- Follow ABG safety protocols, ISO standards, and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) systems rigorously.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are executed in a safe manner complying with established safety standards.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting expertise.
- Proficient in SAP for maintenance management and recordkeeping.
- Good understanding of safety standards aligned with ABG, ISO, and WCM frameworks.
