About the Role
The Performance Management Senior Manager position within the Finance Department – Performance and Capital Management located in Riyadh involves oversight and control of departmental operations and ensuring the execution and review of all work processes. This role is instrumental in governing risk-related policies across various risk domains including operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, and audit risks. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal control systems through audit follow-ups and corrective measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the operating framework of the department, providing necessary guidance and support.
- Oversee the implementation of risk management policies and controls as per organizational standards.
- Review and enhance internal control systems in line with procedures and legal requirements, addressing audit observations.
- Develop and analyze key management information comprising both financial and non-financial data to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with the Head of Capital and Performance Management to leverage Management Information (MI) systems for timely and accurate MI production.
- Coordinate the gathering of complex financial and non-financial data from all SAB divisions.
- Support consolidation of the annual operating and strategic plans across functions and products, including system integration and reporting.
- Manage the preparation of ad hoc management reports requested by senior leadership.
- Implement SAB’s Asset and Liability Committee Management (ALCM) policies, ensuring their integration within IT infrastructure.
- Develop internal reporting frameworks compliant with statutory regulations and accounting standards.
- Ensure follow-up and implementation of audit recommendations from both internal and external auditors.
- Prepare costing and budget variance reports to support effective managerial decisions.
- Monitor and analyze financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) against targets and provide actionable insights.
- Manage cost allocation methodologies aligned with the latest organizational structure and approved policies.
- Monitor transaction process compliance and drive continuous improvements.
- Submit quarterly and annual operating segment notes for published financial statements detailing variances and annual operating plan comparisons.
- Engage and support external auditors during financial audits, addressing queries and resolving issues.
- Centralize business finance reporting under the MI Production unit within Finance.
- Oversee invoice processing for SAB subsidiaries related to charge recovery as per approved Service Level Agreements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in financial performance management.
- Proficiency with HMI systems, including maintenance, adjustment postings, and report generation.
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
