Role Overview
We seek a People Operations Partner to oversee end-to-end global employee equity operations, including RSUs, ESOPs, and related initiatives. This position entails managing the full equity lifecycle—granting, vesting, exercising, termination, and documentation—while collaborating closely with Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, Tax, and regional People teams. The role is based in Singapore and requires ensuring process accuracy, data integrity, governance, and a seamless equity experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage global employee equity programs from grant through vesting, exercise, and termination stages.
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely processing of equity transactions across multiple regions and entities.
- Coordinate equity-related documentation, approvals, records, and communications with cross-functional partners including Legal, Finance, Tax, and regional People teams.
- Provide clear and responsive support to employees and stakeholders while developing scalable, self-service guidance resources.
- Maintain precise equity data and reports to support business planning, accounting requirements, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Enhance operational controls to keep equity processes audit-ready and compliant with governance standards.
- Drive strategic projects such as annual grant cycles, liquidity programs, scheme transitions, and retention or relocation efforts.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements, including automation and standardization of equity operations while preserving data accuracy and governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over six years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of three years administering global equity programs in fast-growing tech, fintech, or multinational firms.
- Proven expertise in managing international employee equity plans such as RSUs, stock options, and ESOPs across various jurisdictions.
- Experience working with HRIS and equity management systems to handle lifecycle administration, data upkeep, reporting, and reconciling complex datasets.
- Strong analytical capabilities ensuring precise processing and reconciliation of voluminous, multi-source data.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee inquiries and operational workflows with prioritization, ownership, and adherence to service standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of the equity lifecycle, including necessary controls for audit readiness and compliance.
Preferable Skills and Experience
- Background working with equity operations in pre-IPO or late-stage private companies, including handling tender offers and equity purchase or swap programs.
- Knowledge of global equity compliance frameworks such as trusts, holding entities, and employer of record (EOR) structures.
- Experience collaborating with Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, and Tax functions to translate policy changes into scalable workflows and system configurations.
- Proven track record in identifying inefficiencies and driving process improvements, automation, or standardization in equity operations.
- Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly growing environment, applying keen attention to detail, sound judgment, and proactive communication.
