Overview

Egg Collective is looking for an empathetic, organized, and relationship-focused People & Operations Coordinator to partner with our Managing Director, overseeing daily HR and administrative operations to keep the teams supported and the work environment running efficiently. This multifaceted role combines human resources, operational management, policy adherence, culture cultivation, and strategic support to ensure every facet of the employee journey reflects the company's core values.

Key Duties

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive employee records and HR systems ensuring data accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and city labor laws including labor postings and safety standards.
  • Keep employee handbook and company policies current and coordinate with external partners like PEO teams and benefit providers.
  • Handle workers’ compensation, disability claims, and paid family leave processes.
  • Assist executive leadership with data-driven scenario planning and policy interpretation.
  • Support workplace safety including OSHA compliance, conducting regular safety meetings, and overseeing emergency preparedness.
  • Provide administrative support for scheduling, briefing materials, and strategic project execution.
  • Conduct research and advance special initiatives related to people priorities such as policy development and organizational design.
  • Administer weekly payroll, time tracking, employee benefits enrollment and renewals, PTO tracking, and year-end reporting.
  • Coordinate performance reviews, maintain organizational charts and job descriptions, and support professional development activities.
  • Manage office operations, facilities upkeep, vendor communication, and supply inventory management.
  • Drive full-cycle recruitment including job description creation, candidate screening, interviewing, offer letter preparation, onboarding, and orientation facilitation.
  • Plan and manage events at the Manhattan showroom, collaborate with external partners, and foster a positive work culture through recognition and engagement programs.
  • Act as an accessible point of contact for employee feedback and inquiries, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace environment.

Compensation and Benefits
