About the Role
Planet Pharma is seeking a meticulous and proactive People Operations Coordinator to enhance the efficiency of our Human Resources functions. This position involves critical support for daily HR operations with the goal of delivering an exceptional employee experience across the company. Reporting to the Manager of People Operations, the coordinator will provide essential technical, operational, and administrative assistance that mirrors our commitment to a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of personnel data records.
- Communicate effectively across various cross-functional and international teams to optimize employee satisfaction.
- Manage updates and changes in HR systems.
- Answer employee inquiries about company policies and procedures, directing complex questions to appropriate departments.
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to new hire onboarding, which includes managing background checks and Form I-9 verification processes.
- Lead virtual, semi-monthly orientation sessions for new employees.
- Manage the employee referral bonus program.
- Conduct regular audits of personnel records to ensure compliance.
- Oversee contingent worker requests and tickets through the ServiceNow platform.
- Process employment verification requests promptly and accurately.
- Support employee offboarding processes in compliance with applicable state and federal labor laws.
- Deliver general administrative support and contribute to special HR projects as requested.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years relevant or transferable corporate experience, preferably in People Operations.
- Confident public speaking skills across in-person, video, and telephone formats in English.
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Familiarity with HRMS systems such as Workday and ATS like Greenhouse, including knowledge of I-9 and E-Verify procedures.
- Enthusiasm for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office; quick adaptability to new technologies and platforms.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
Education
Bachelor's degree or comparable relevant professional experience is required.
Compensation
The hourly pay ranges from $19 to $27, depending on the candidate’s experience.
