The Shared Services DE GmbH division is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist (w/m/d) based in Leimen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The payroll team ensures that all employees receive their salaries accurately, punctually, and transparently. The team combines precision with in-depth knowledge of legal regulations, collective agreements, and company policies. The position reports to the Head of Payroll.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain employee data within SAP HCM and other HR systems such as Workday and Atoss to ensure accurate and up-to-date datasets.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries, including wage and social security questions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with collective agreements, company agreements, social insurance, and tax laws by reviewing and assessing all requirements.
- Keep track of important deadlines, such as probationary periods and contract expirations, and act proactively.
- Contribute actively to projects aimed at process optimization and digital transformation of payroll activities.
Qualifications
- Completion of a commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification as a foundation for entering or advancing in payroll.
- Several years of practical experience in payroll accounting and time management, applying acquired expertise confidently.
- Strong familiarity with social security and payroll tax regulations, with proficient use of SAP HCM, MS Office 365, and ideally Workday.
- Collaborative team player who thinks proactively, takes initiative, and communicates clearly and amicably with employees.
- Basic knowledge of SAP customization is advantageous.
- Fluent German language skills and good English proficiency enable confident interaction in an international environment.
