Job Overview
KPMG's Finance division seeks a talented Payroll Administrator to become part of the expanding Payroll team in Australia. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive payroll processing services aligned with Australian standards, contributing actively to process efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support weekly and monthly payroll processing for Australian employees in collaboration with the Payroll Team Leader.
- Handle third-party payroll payments, such as superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax.
- Conduct payroll data reconciliations, including individual long service leave (LSL) reconciliations, whenever required.
- Prepare and assist with reporting requirements to external organizations like the Australian Bureau of Statistics and Centrelink.
- Identify and suggest improvements in systems, processes, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Finance and People & Inclusion teams.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a client-focused, collaborative attitude, capable of consulting across different business functions.
- Familiarity with payroll and people analytics, payroll processes, and time and attendance systems is an advantage.
- Effective problem solver who performs well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience & Skills
- Solid understanding of Australian payroll regulations and practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing payroll administration in a large corporate environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills across diverse organizational levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills complemented by enthusiasm and motivation.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Accurate and rapid data entry skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with large payroll platforms such as SAP is desirable.
