Role Overview
We are seeking a Parts Interpreter to join our Rocklea branch. This hands-on role involves working directly with customers to identify and supply accurate truck parts while assisting in the branch's daily functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and sourcing appropriate truck components for clients
- Delivering exceptional customer service both face-to-face and via telephone
- Managing sales order processing and responding to customer queries
- Handling order picking, packing, and dispatch activities
- Supporting stock control and inventory management efforts
- Collaborating effectively with the branch team
- Developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Qualifications and Attributes
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service capabilities
- Dependable with a strong emphasis on teamwork
- High attention to detail
- Eager to acquire and enhance product knowledge
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter
- Background in automotive, truck, mechanical trades, or similar fields
- Familiarity with Japanese vehicle parts
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles such as Hino, Isuzu, Fuso, or UD Trucks
- Forklift license
- Experience in sales or customer service roles
Additional Notes
Applicants without direct truck parts experience but possessing automotive parts knowledge, mechanical understanding, or a strong interest in vehicles and customer relations are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
