Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and zone the deli department efficiently.
• Rotate stock regularly and vigilantly check products for expiration.
• Ensure that all merchandise is clearly signed and accurately priced.
• Follow strict guidelines for cold chain management, including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, proper food handling, product rotation, and adherence to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Process orders for deli items, including slicing and preparation of meats, cheeses, and fried chicken, while assisting customers as needed.
• Support front-end associates by performing price checks upon request.
• Prepare deli foods such as meats, cheeses, and salads using slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers, fulfilling specialty customer orders when required.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of any debris, foreign objects, or liquids.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $16.45 per hour.
