Job description
Role Overview
The position involves loading and unloading freight, scanning and sorting packages within the facility. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight efficiently within the warehouse setting.
- Scan packages and sort freight accurately as per operational requirements.
Required Skills and Aptitudes
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to complete all required initial and periodic training successfully.
- Physical strength to lift 70 lb and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lb using appropriate equipment.
- Comfort and competence working in a Windows PC environment.
- Capability to handle routine tasks and maintain annual accreditations as needed.
Additional Information and Terms
Work schedules may vary according to business needs. Employees assigned to Quebec must be bilingual in French and English. Valid driver's license (e.g., Class 5, G, or 1 AZ) with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months is required for positions involving driving skills. Applicants will be assessed based on driving record, interview performance, and driving skill evaluations if applicable.

Compensation
