Role Overview
This full-time, onsite position based in Gilching involves managing the end-to-end order processing cycle. The incumbent will handle order entry, verify order accuracy, coordinate logistics and warehouse activities, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. Communicating effectively with customers and cross-functional teams is crucial for resolving order discrepancies and providing shipment and invoice updates. Maintaining precise records in ERP and CRM systems, assisting with quotations, order confirmations, and supporting compliance with company policies and applicable regulations are integral functions. Additional tasks may include managing return and exchange procedures, supporting sales administration efforts, and contributing to continuous enhancements in order processing operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in order processing, order administration, or customer service within a technical or B2B context is required.
- Proficiency in data entry with familiarity in ERP/CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of professional interactions with customers and internal teams.
- Exceptional accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, combined with effective organizational and time management skills.
- Capability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multinational work environment.
- Professional-level English fluency is mandatory; knowledge of German is highly advantageous.
- Basic understanding of logistics, shipment workflows, and commercial paperwork is a plus.
- Preferred completion of vocational training or academic degree in business administration, office management, or related discipline.
