Order Handling Engineer

Join a dynamic team at our Nashik location within the Distribution Solutions division, part of the Electrification business segment. As an Order Handling Engineer reporting to the Manager Order Handling, you will play a key role in supporting sales through technical and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure achievement of performance targets such as inventory turnover for finished goods, on-time delivery rates, and customer satisfaction measured by Net Promoter Score.
• Manage order processing by coordinating with Sales, Product Marketing, Logistics, and other internal departments to ensure customers receive products accurately and punctually.
• Serve as the initial contact point for customer orders and queries, resolving issues effectively.
• Support both pre-sales and after-sales activities by addressing customer challenges and maintaining efficient communication using commercial tools.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize order execution and enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives to boost productivity and streamline processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Full-time degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Five to eight years of experience in order management, project management, customer service, sales operations, or supply chain functions.
• Strong command of Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate for analytics, reporting, collaboration, and automation.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and other digital business applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret operational metrics and implement improvements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
