Role Overview
The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases, ensuring their optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute database administration duties including patching, backup operations, recovery procedures, and performance optimization for Oracle databases.
- Set up and oversee Real Application Clusters (RAC) environments integrated with Data Guard for disaster recovery implementations.
- Create and maintain PL/SQL scripts to automate tasks and apply changes to database schemas efficiently.
- Monitor production database systems continuously to ensure high availability and respond swiftly to any operational incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve problems related to Oracle Golden Gate replication across databases.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, working specifically with Oracle versions 10g, 11g, and 12c.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech or B.E. is required).
- Have a solid command of SQL, capable of developing complex and optimized queries.
- Proficient in managing disaster recovery solutions utilizing Data Guard technology.
