On-Site Tech Solutions Specialist

About The Role

At The Warehouse Group, New Zealand's leading retailer committed to making sustainable living accessible and affordable, we are seeking a Tech Solutions Specialist for our Mt Maunganui Noel Leeming store. As a vital member of our expert Services team, you will enhance customer experiences by providing end-to-end technology solutions, including live demonstrations, advice, support, delivery, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive tech product demonstrations and tailored guidance to customers.
• Offer expert advice and troubleshooting support ensuring customers receive the appropriate products and services.
• Handle delivery and installation of technology purchases with a strong commitment to quality service.

Candidate Profile

• A passion for technology and customer service combined with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong can-do attitude with the ability to work proactively to enhance the customer journey.
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid clean New Zealand driver’s license required due to the field-based nature of this role, with capacity to operate company vehicles.
• Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand for a minimum of 24 months without restrictions.
• Experience in technology setup and installation like WIFI, TV, PC, and audio preferred; however, training is available for candidates demonstrating aptitude.
• Proven background in customer-facing roles, showcasing effective communication and a positive demeanor.

Additional Skills That Are Advantageous

• Familiarity with Apple OS/IOS environments.
• Experience in IT support within educational, enterprise, or SME sectors.
• Knowledge of device management and software tools such as Jamf, Google Admin, or Microsoft Admin.
