Nigerian Content Deputy Manager

Job Overview

Eni is seeking a Nigerian Content Deputy Manager to join Nigerian Agip Exploration Ltd. based in Abuja, Nigeria. This permanent role focuses on advancing local content initiatives, ensuring rigorous compliance with Nigerian regulations, and interfacing with the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board (NCDMB) across all contractual activities.

Main Duties

• Compile and submit detailed Nigerian Content reports to the NCDMB.
• Track Nigerian Content performance metrics and maintain active coordination with the NCDMB.
• Oversee Nigerian Content requirements and secure necessary approvals throughout tendering and contracting phases.
• Collaborate with internal teams to uphold adherence to local content laws.
• Handle applications and renewals for expatriate quotas along with associated authorizations.
• Facilitate capacity-building efforts, vendor development programs, and mandated research and development obligations.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian Content Development Fund contributions and other local content commitments.
• Maintain alignment with company policies, procedural guidelines, and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a relevant degree.
• A wealth of diverse professional experience, emphasizing substantial exposure to Nigerian Content management and External Relations.
• Thorough understanding of the Nigerian Content Act and its requirements.
• Strong technical proficiency combined with accounting knowledge.
• Proven ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources effectively.
• Capable conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities.
• Competence in juggling multiple priorities and thriving within a dynamic, high-pressure work environment.

Additional Information
