About the role
This contract opportunity is for an experienced natural resource conservation scientist who can help improve how AI interprets environmental science, land management, and conservation decisions. Your practical subject-matter knowledge will be used to refine the quality and dependability of AI outputs that may be read by researchers, public-sector decision-makers, and field professionals.
The work is fully remote and flexible, with an hourly, task-based structure. You can complete assignments on your own schedule while contributing to AI development work.

What you will do
- Assess conservation science prompts and practical case scenarios used in AI training data.
- Check AI-generated answers for accuracy across land use, ecosystems, soil science, hydrology, and biodiversity.
- Judge whether conservation guidance from AI reflects accepted real-world practice.
- Share detailed, organized feedback to strengthen scientific reasoning and output quality.
- Manage work independently and asynchronously while meeting project timelines.
Profile we are looking for
- At least 3 years of professional experience in natural resource conservation, environmental science, or a closely related field.
- Solid understanding of ecosystems, land management, and conservation science fundamentals.
- Ability to evaluate scientific logic and applied conservation recommendations critically.
- Comfort with reviewing structured content and giving practical, specific feedback.
- Self-directed and dependable in a remote, independent work setting.
Preferred background
- Master’s degree or PhD in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related discipline.
- Practical field experience or involvement in applied conservation projects.
- Exposure to AI systems, content review processes, or scientific writing.
