Mortgage Loan Processor III

Role Overview

The role of Mortgage Loan Processor III involves managing the processing of home equity line of credit applications, as well as purchase and refinance loan transactions. The incumbent will assess loan applications to ensure timely approval and closing. Candidates must comply with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (Safe Act) by being registered or eligible for registration in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, maintaining good standing at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze loan approvals to determine necessary documentation for closing.
• Respond to internal customer inquiries within a two-hour timeframe.
• Use pipeline reports to organize and prioritize tasks daily.
• Review all loans at least once every three days.
• Manage an individual workload pipeline of approximately 30 loans.
• Stay updated on City National Bank (CNB) guidelines and loan products.
• Achieve or exceed monthly funding targets set by management.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of recent mortgage industry experience.
• Minimum of three years’ proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Compliance with the Safe Act including required registration/licensing and maintenance of good standing.

• In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulatory guidelines; experience with TRID compliance is necessary.

• Strong organizational abilities capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Proficiency with personal computer use, loan origination systems, and Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting base wage ranges between $25.93 and $41.43 per hour, subject to variation based on experience, skill set, and location. The position is eligible for bonuses and commissions.
