Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Mobile Specialist Cleaner for a permanent contract based around Bournemouth/Southampton supporting a major UK retail portfolio. This role offers an annual salary of A33250 along with a company van, fuel card, and mobile phone. Your work will involve traveling to various retail, commercial, and industrial sites within approximately 90 minutes of your home, with occasional overnight stays fully accommodated in hotels.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high and low-level cleaning duties, including commercial window cleaning and pressure washing.
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks according to specified standards and deadlines.
- Respond promptly to reactive cleaning requests as needed.
- Operate safely at heights using proper equipment and maintain cleaning tools, including replacing O-rings and ensuring operational functionality.
- Utilize company PDA or mobile applications to record job reports and required documentation.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and on-site teams while adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Work Schedule
- Work any five days out of seven weekly.
- Flexibility for early starts and occasional overnight trips.
- Standard working day involves approximately 7 hours on-site with 8 hours paid.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in commercial window cleaning, specialist external cleaning, or similar roles.
- Skilled in the use of pressure/jet washing equipment.
- Capable and confident working at heights.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain IPAF 3a/3b and Harness User qualifications (training provided).
- Holder of a full UK driving license.
- Competent with IT and mobile/PDA technology.
- Reliable, professional, customer-oriented, and adaptable to regional travel and overnight stays when required.
