Role Overview

As a Mid-Level Engineer at Attain Healthtech, your main responsibility will be to ensure backend performance and stability while delivering robust solutions. While your involvement will span the whole technology stack, your focus will predominantly be on engineering scalable, efficient, and resilient backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to understand and solve complex backend problems.
• Develop, test, and deploy backend code ensuring quality and stability.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation including data flow diagrams and test evidence.
• Troubleshoot backend issues rooted in customer and stakeholder feedback.
• Advocate and uphold clean, standardized coding practices.
• Engage actively in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions.

Required Experience and Skills

• 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience, preferably within test-driven development (TDD) environments.
• Proficiency in designing, deploying, and maintaining APIs hosted on AWS infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of backend technologies and best practices, with demonstrated ability to build scalable and user-friendly backend applications.
• Skilled in backend testing and code validation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for technical documentation.
• Experienced in using GitHub and Jira for version control and project management.
