About the Role
Join Clips India as a Merchandiser to manage the complete merchandising cycle for baby product lines including diapers, baby wraps, bedding, feeding accessories, and more. This role involves sourcing trustworthy vendors across India, coordinating product development from initial sampling to final production, and maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Duties
- Oversee end-to-end merchandising activities of baby care product categories.
- Identify, source, and build relationships with reliable domestic vendors.
- Coordinate all stages of product development, ensuring timely delivery of samples and final goods.
- Negotiate costs, lead times, minimum order quantities, and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, customer specifications, packaging, labeling, and regulatory requirements for domestic and export markets.
- Collaborate closely with quality assurance, packaging, design, and logistics functions for seamless execution.
- Monitor production timelines and enforce on-time delivery schedules.
- Manage purchase orders, costings, product documentation, and resolve production or quality issues proactively.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new products, trends, and sourcing opportunities.
- Maintain and develop vendor partnerships to support business growth.
- Compile merchandising reports, track order progress, and prepare management information system (MIS) updates.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
- Applicants must be located in Gurgaon.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, commerce, marketing, supply chain management, or equivalent fields.
- Experience or knowledge in e-commerce, merchandising, retail operations, or supply chain management is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office, business analysis, effective communication, and problem-solving.
Compensation and Perks
- Annual salary range between INR 480,000 and INR 700,000.
