Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our APAC marketing team remotely from Australia. This part-time internship involves supporting various marketing initiatives, including event coordination, content creation, email campaigns, data management, and collaboration with internal teams and external providers. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals passionate about marketing and eager to develop skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and create content briefs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to plan and execute marketing campaigns such as advertising, PR, product launches, events, and reseller programs.
- Utilize marketing technology tools including CRM, CMS, and project management software.
- Assist with event management tasks and manage lead data.
- Maintain and audit marketing databases to ensure accuracy.
- Support email marketing by gathering content, proofreading, and testing campaigns.
- Streamline internal processes for brand and creative request workflows.
- Organize and maintain internal and external marketing documents.
- Innovate improvements in document control and internal communications.
- Coordinate and enhance company internal announcements.
- Help schedule and edit social media content.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance data.
- Support sales marketing activities to enhance partner co-marketing programs.
- Update and contribute to departmental knowledge bases such as the WIKI.
Requirements
- Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience with remote work or study demonstrating self-motivation, time management, and effective virtual communication.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to self-manage tasks.
- Keen interest in learning about Geotab’s technology offerings.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Good analytical abilities to interpret campaign data.
- Proficiency in software tools including Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Collaborative team player capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
- Proactive problem solver with a willingness to take initiative.
Additional Information
- Duration: 12 months, starting as soon as possible.
- Work schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
- Location: Remote within Australia.
