About VitalCaring and the Role
VitalCaring is innovating healthcare by building a dedicated and passionate Talent Acquisition team. This role as a Talent Acquisition Manager is pivotal; it involves overseeing daily recruiting activities and shaping the strategy to attract outstanding talent across the organization. The position focuses on people-centric leadership, coaching, operational excellence, data-informed decision-making, and partnership with business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7-10 Talent Acquisition Partners through continuous coaching, performance reviews, and pipeline management.
- Promote a culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, ongoing learning, and recruiting best practices.
- Manage onboarding, training, and continuous development programs for recruiters.
- Act as the main leader and point of escalation for daily recruiting operations across clinical, sales, operations, and corporate functions.
- Balance recruiting workloads and hiring priorities to support timely, high-quality hiring.
- Monitor recruiting pipelines and requisitions to proactively address challenges.
- Collaborate with business leaders on key hiring initiatives and workforce strategies.
- Standardize recruiting processes and identify efficiency improvements through technology, automation, and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to recruiting policies, employment laws, and internal procedures.
- Drive a superior experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout recruitment.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and dashboards to pinpoint trends and enhance performance.
- Maintain accuracy within the Applicant Tracking System and provide executive reporting alongside Talent Acquisition leadership.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years in Talent Acquisition, preferably in healthcare.
- More than 3 years in managing or leading recruiting teams.
- Experience handling high-volume, multi-state recruitment processes.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting metrics, pipeline management, and workforce analytics.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, with a preference for Greenhouse.
- Proven ability to coach and develop recruiting professionals effectively.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset capable of converting data insights into actionable outcomes.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and implementing recruiting technology solutions.
Preferred Experience
- Recruiting experience in Home Health, Hospice, Post-Acute Care, or Healthcare Services.
- Supporting geographically dispersed field operations.
