Role Overview

The Public Affairs team in Singapore crafts and executes strategies aligned with public policy and national interests, advocating for Grab's mission while managing relationships with government, community stakeholders, and addressing regulatory, reputational, and political risks for the company's various services.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement strategies supporting Grab's public affairs by collaborating with business and corporate teams to analyze emerging regulatory and policy challenges, and develop responsive action plans advancing Grab's social objectives.
• Develop and maintain strategic government relations and partnerships, acting as Grab's representative in meetings and events with key government stakeholders.
• Partner with regional public affairs to analyze policies, formulate positions, and provide advocacy advice.
• Coordinate with internal teams to design, launch, execute, and assess public affairs initiatives and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in public or government affairs within Singapore, including roles in public policy, regulation, strategic advisory, and partnership or project management.
• Strong enthusiasm for positively influencing community and public policy issues.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives and strategic plans.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with diverse external stakeholders, including government officials and policy-makers.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
