Manager

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to join our team in Hyderabad. The role demands a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, or comparable professional experience, and a minimum of eight years in progressive accounting roles. The position requires strong understanding of financial procedures and US GAAP, particularly in Professional Services, Financial Services, and Nonprofit sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage accounting functions with expertise in financial processes and compliance with US GAAP.
• Oversee ERP system implementations, preferably Sage Intacct, including setup, configuration, and training users.
• Commit to enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality and timely accounting solutions tailored to client needs.
• Apply effective troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources and achieve organizational objectives.
• Maintain clear and effective communication and presentation skills, especially while interacting with US-based stakeholders.
• Demonstrate flexibility by balancing remote work with onsite collaboration, ensuring overlapping hours with US teams.
• Organize and prioritize various tasks proactively to maintain efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or accounting, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of advancing experience in accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of financial processes and US GAAP standards.
• Experience in Professional Services, Financial Services, and/or Nonprofit organizations.
• Proficient in ERP implementations, especially Sage Intacct, with practical experience in system installation and user training.
• Strong analytical ability to think creatively and resolve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging internal departments and external US stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the capability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
