About the Role

We are seeking a well-organized, relationship-focused, and mission-driven Manager of Community Relations. This position manages a broad array of community programs, signature events, youth initiatives, volunteer activities, and philanthropic efforts, while nurturing partnerships with nonprofits, educational institutions, government bodies, corporate partners, and community leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, delivery, and assessment of community impact programs and Foundation initiatives.
- Simultaneously oversee multiple community projects ensuring high-quality execution.
- Create innovative programming aligned with the Foundation's strategic goals and community needs.
- Manage projects from ideation through budgeting, logistics, execution, to post-event evaluation.
- Ensure programs are effective, scalable, inclusive, and adhere to organizational objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date annual program calendars and project timelines.
- Establish and sustain strong relationships with nonprofits, schools, governmental agencies, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.
- Explore opportunities to broaden partnerships and enhance community involvement.
- Serve as a reliable ambassador for the Tennessee Titans Foundation and ONE Community at meetings, events, and partner activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams for flawless community initiative delivery.
- Handle event logistics, registration, communications, volunteer coordination, and operational planning.
- Oversee program budgets, resources, inventories, and timelines.
- Guarantee timely completion of Foundation commitments and sponsorship agreements.
- Maintain thorough documentation, project plans, and procedures.
- Provide daily supervision to coordinators, interns, volunteers, and event staff.
- Contribute to departmental strategy, planning, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with Communications, Marketing, Social Media, Creative teams to promote community initiatives.
- Support storytelling and content creation for impact reports, presentations, grants, and donor communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Public Relations, Sports Management, Business, Education, or related discipline.
- Minimum of five years experience in community relations, nonprofit management, philanthropy, CSR, event management, or community engagement.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong skill in building and maintaining community and corporate partnerships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with budget oversight and event operations.
- Analytical skills to evaluate program outcomes.
- Competence with Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
- Preferred Experience:
- Background in professional sports, entertainment, foundations, or nonprofit sectors.
- Knowledge of volunteer engagement and corporate giving programs.
- Experience managing grants and donor relations.
- Familiarity with the Middle Tennessee community and nonprofit scene.

Physical and Work Conditions
- Work is office-based.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
