About the Role
Endura Mining invites applications for the role of Maintenance Planner based in Little River, Canterbury, New Zealand. This position is integral to the operation of the Snowy River processing plant and associated infrastructure, playing a pivotal role in organizing and directing maintenance activities to ensure plant reliability and availability. This unique opportunity allows you to contribute at an early stage in the company's expansion, helping shape its growth in the mining sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver a weekly work order schedule to the Maintenance Supervisor within established deadlines.
- Provide precise time, resource, and duration estimates to facilitate achievable maintenance planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop future maintenance schedules aimed at optimizing equipment reliability and plant uptime.
- Track schedule adherence, monitor equipment availability, and generate reports based on maintenance KPIs.
- Maintain and review critical spare parts lists and coordinate with warehouse and supply teams to ensure parts availability.
- Plan and manage external contractor activities, including statutory inspections.
- Control maintenance expenditure within budget limits and produce necessary maintenance reports.
- Continuously improve and update preventive maintenance content within the maintenance management system.
- Support initiatives focused on reliability improvement and defect elimination using accurate data analysis.
- Assist with commissioning processes and the establishment of maintenance systems for the new plant.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with maintenance, operations, and supply teams.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive post-trade or maintenance experience with fixed and/or mobile plant machinery.
- Proven skills in planning, scheduling, and organization with a strong focus on detail.
- Practical knowledge of maintenance in processing or heavy industrial plant environments.
- Committed to maintaining high safety standards and supporting a safe work environment.
- Proficient in the use of maintenance management systems and common office software, including scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
