Role overview
The dealership is hiring a full-time Lot Attendant for Moncton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Moncton, New Brunswick. This is an immediate-hire opportunity within AutoCanada’s dealership network, a large Canadian-owned automotive retail group operating across Canada and the United States.
The role sits in a busy, fast-moving environment where team members support customers, sales, and service operations while helping keep the lot and vehicles in excellent condition. The position calls for someone who is comfortable working in a hands-on setting and who can move around, under, and inside vehicles to complete cleaning and detailing work thoroughly.
What you will do
- Move customers and dealership staff when required
- Support building and grounds upkeep as needed
- Help across both the service and sales departments
- Organize, park, and manage vehicles awaiting sale or service
- Remove protective coverings and identification tags before vehicles are returned to customers
- Check vehicles for dirt, stains, debris, and damage, and escalate any issues right away
- Assist with service write-ups and tagging customer vehicles
- Support shop cleanup and deliveries when needed
- Clear snow and carry out other exterior cleaning tasks according to seasonal needs
- Spot lot merchandising issues and bring them to the relevant manager’s attention
- Place signage on and in vehicles for promotional purposes
- Track and arrange vehicles daily according to their reconditioning stage
- Keep the lot tidy, including garbage removal and similar tasks
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Interest in the automotive sector and familiarity with vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Experience with cleaning products, cleaning tools, and power washers is considered an asset
- Reliable, dependable, and able to manage priorities effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Good customer service skills
