Logistics Specialist (Technical Administration & Support) - 24 Months Contract

Overview

We are currently looking for a Logistics Specialist on a 24-month contractual basis based in Singapore. The primary responsibility will be technical administration and support of the Oracle EBS logistics module, ensuring data accuracy, operational efficiency, and supporting system users globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the Oracle logistics module to manage inventory data, order processing, and provide the main system contact for global stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with vendors and IT teams to maintain smooth operations and meet month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing deadlines.
• Lead governance and standardization of logistics processes, facilitating cross-functional discussions and promoting continuous improvement and best practices in Oracle EBS usage, as directed by the logistics manager.
• Act as the escalation point for technical decisions related to Oracle EBS.
• Provide operational assistance for high-impact system issues and improvement projects.
• Support hybrid roles that protect the logistics module integrity while prioritizing digital transformation initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior system specialists on daily operations and troubleshooting.
• Develop automation reports to enhance productivity and introduce systematic locator grouping to improve work order report sorting.
• Create new work order reports to eliminate manual tallying and reporting.
• Analyze and resolve process or system errors to minimize downtime.
• Support warehouse activities including transaction and inventory status reporting.
• Provide clarification and support for regional logistics systems and processes.
• Assist with cycle count and physical inventory processes.
• Manage logistics data digitization and document storage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of five years' experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or data analysis within a supply chain context.
• Proficient in spreadsheet tools such as Excel and SQL, and experienced with logistics software platforms like SAP, Oracle, WMS, or TMS.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate logistics data and identify enhancement opportunities.
• Independent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
