Logistics Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our operations team based in Munich, Germany. This full-time position involves analyzing logistics data, enhancing transportation and distribution processes, tracking inventory movement, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with procurement, warehousing, transportation, and operations departments to boost logistics performance, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine logistics and transportation data to spot trends and increase operational efficiency.
• Track inventory movement, shipping efficiency, and delivery timelines.
• Create logistics reports, dashboards, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in refining transportation routes and distribution systems.
• Work alongside suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to guarantee seamless logistics operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while preserving service quality.
• Support activities related to inventory planning and demand forecasting.
• Maintain precise logistics records, databases, and documentation.
• Help resolve issues linked to shipping, transportation, and supply chain challenges.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to elevate logistics performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operations is helpful but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
• Good understanding of logistics operations, inventory management, and transportation workflows.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Capable of independent work and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a plus but not essential.
