Logistics Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to join Purple Drive Technologies in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This full-time onsite position involves deep engagement with transportation data analysis, developing dashboards, and reporting key performance indicators to enhance freight and carrier operations.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possess 3 to 5 or more years' professional experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or analytics roles.
• Demonstrate strong skills in analyzing transportation data, creating dashboards, and KPI reporting.
• Exhibit advanced capabilities with Microsoft Excel.
• Be proficient in analytic software such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or equivalents.
• Have knowledge of freight operations, carrier oversight, and logistics sourcing.
• Show excellent analytical thinking, communication, project coordination, and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Be fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with international air freight logistics.
• Experience managing domestic and global transportation processes.
• Working knowledge of LLP, 4PL, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or managed transportation setups.
• Understanding of process improvement techniques and process mapping.
