Role Overview
McCormick is hiring a Line Maintainer to join the Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London, Ontario. This role is on Afternoon B Shift, running Monday to Friday from 2:40 pm to 11:00 pm.
What You Will Do
- Carry out production support activities such as line changeovers, feeding and servicing production lines, and resolving equipment problems.
- Complete and record test runs, product trials, and data collection activities.
- Lead team discussions, guide line team members, and help onboard and train new employees.
- Contribute to continuous improvement work and support Journey to Excellence and Total Preventative Maintenance initiatives.
- Communicate issues clearly and escalate them to managers or other teams when required.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and workplace policies while performing the job.
Qualifications
The role requires an OSSD diploma or an equivalent credential, along with successful completion of basic qualification testing. Candidates must be able to handle physically demanding work safely, including repeated pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The position also calls for the ability to work overtime, operate with limited supervision, and stay effective in a fast-moving environment. Strong attention to detail, good organization, problem-solving ability, prioritization skills, and both written and verbal communication are important. The successful candidate should also be able to complete forklift certification training through McCormick.
Preferred Experience
Experience in food packaging, filling lines, or similar manufacturing work will be considered an advantage. SAP knowledge is also viewed as a plus.

Compensation
The base pay for this position is $24.22 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. Final compensation will depend on location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The role is also eligible for McCormick’s Dividend Program.

Hiring Notes
