Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Legal Executive Assistant to join our team at Starbucks EMEA in London. This role provides essential support to Directors and Corporate Counsel within the EMEA Law & Corporate Affairs department, facilitating their focus on strategic objectives by managing daily operations, administrative tasks, and coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive executive and legal administrative support including schedule management, meeting and travel arrangements, contract handling, and financial processing such as purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain governance activities and ensure smooth functioning of legal operations through accurate record keeping and document management.
- Oversee departmental procedures encompassing purchase orders, invoices, expenses, contract oversight, document management, and e-signature processes, all while ensuring compliance and governance standards.
- Enhance team productivity by identifying and implementing process improvements and streamlining workflows to support priority delivery and project execution.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external providers to ensure seamless activity coordination.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Balance multiple competing priorities and deadlines, upholding accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience supporting senior legal leadership in complex, fast-paced corporate settings.
- Legal qualification preferred, ideally ILSPA legal secretary certification or an equivalent credential.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in contract administration, purchase order management, invoice processing, and governance within document management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across functions and a commitment to adaptability and continuous improvement.
