Role overview
This remote contract role is based in the United States and is aligned to the EST time zone. The current assignment is planned for 6 months, with a possible extension. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Learning Facilitation Professional 2 is responsible for planning and delivering training programs for employees and, in some cases, external audiences. The role involves choosing suitable learning materials, facilitating both in-person and virtual sessions, and creating a learning environment that supports engagement, information sharing, and strong outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute training programs across the organization, including instructor-led and virtual instructor-led sessions.
- Select learning content and materials that fit the training objective and audience.
- Build an interactive learning atmosphere that encourages participation and knowledge exchange.
- Track training records to confirm completion of company, quality, and regulatory learning requirements.
- Review course feedback and evaluation results to measure effectiveness and identify improvements.
- Assess online learning resources and determine how they can enhance the facilitated training experience.
- Operate with an understanding of departmental, segment, and broader organizational goals and how the role supports them.
- Work independently using established procedures, making decisions on day-to-day methods while seeking guidance in more complex situations.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in training or learning and development.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Genuine interest in helping an organization improve consumer experiences through continuous learning.
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and adult learning principles.
- Experience using a range of training methods and tools to deliver learning to diverse audiences.
- Background in managing projects or operational processes.
Additional information
This assignment is remote and must align with EST working hours. The role is currently for 6 months, with a potential opportunity for extension. The schedule is fixed at Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
