Role Overview

St. Joseph's Health Care London is hiring a part-time Linen team member for Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care in London, Ontario. The position is based onsite and carries an hourly wage of $28.37 to $28.70.

The scheduled hours reflect current staffing arrangements and may be adjusted at the employer’s discretion.

What You’ll Need

• A completed secondary school diploma.
• Working awareness of safety practices in a healthcare environment in line with the OHSA.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Good interpersonal ability and a team-oriented approach.
• Physical capability to manage heavy lifting, pushing, bending, walking, and standing for long periods.
• Solid organization skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Background

• Familiarity with the hospital’s layout and geography.
• Prior knowledge or experience in laundry and linen-related work.

Teaching and Research Expectations

Because St. Joseph's Health Care London is affiliated with Western University and Fanshawe College, employees are expected to contribute to teaching and research activities related to their role, along with their regular duties.

Immunization and Health Requirements

• Proof of vaccination or immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), hepatitis B, COVID-19, and influenza must be provided.
• Documentation confirming tuberculosis skin testing is required.
