Role summary
This Labourer position is centred on keeping development sites clean, organised and safe on a day-to-day basis, while supporting the site production team and specialist trades.
Key duties
- Open and secure storage containers and plots as required.
- Carry out general preparation of the site and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Clean welfare areas and site facilities.
- Unload deliveries and place materials into storage.
- Support the site team and specialist trades where needed.
- Maintain clear walkways and assist with traffic control on site.
Experience and technical requirements
- A valid CSCS card is required.
- You should be self-driven, with strong communication skills.
- A consistently high standard of workmanship is expected.
- A full, clean driving licence is needed, as travel between different construction sites will be necessary.
- Awareness of safety practices is important.
- You must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
