About the Role

Located in Ta' Xbiex, Malta, Bistro BOCA is seeking motivated individuals to fill full-time positions as Kitchen Porters in our vibrant French bistro. Part-time applicants may also be considered. This role is ideal for candidates looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as directed.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure readiness.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and storage spaces.
• Regularly clean and disinfect work surfaces, floors, and waste disposal areas.
• Help receive and properly store deliveries, adhering to stock rotation procedures.
• Manage kitchen waste and recycling in a timely and responsible manner.
• Support chefs by retrieving needed ingredients and equipment.
• Consistently comply with health, safety, and hygiene guidelines to uphold a safe kitchen setting.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Carry out additional tasks requested by the kitchen manager or head chef to facilitate smooth operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability to begin immediately.
• Willingness to work shifts.
• Preference given to those possessing a Skill Pass and Food Handling certificate.
• Interest in committing to a long-term role within the team.
