Job Overview
Tata Communications Limited is urgently seeking a Junior Engineer specialized in Perimeter Security to support one of their major clients. This role involves managing Level 1 tickets related to proxy and firewall devices, including troubleshooting security incidents and handling new service requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical troubleshooting and management of proxies and SSE platforms such as Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma SASE, alongside firewall technologies including FortiGate, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Cisco FTDs.
- Oversee SSE capabilities encompassing Internet Access, Private Access, and Digital Experience services.
- Execute project implementations, change requests, and incident resolution for proxy solutions like Zscaler.
- Follow ITIL service management practices meticulously.
- Monitor and manage perimeter security infrastructure in line with SLAs, aiming to minimize escalations.
- Manage vulnerabilities within managed infrastructure and apply timely remediation.
- Conduct investigations to determine root causes and assess impacts of security incidents.
- Support IT security audits and assessments of internal and external systems under management supervision, documenting findings and suggesting remediation.
- Assist in developing and documenting IT security architecture to safeguard confidentiality, integrity, and availability of assets.
- Maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with teams and external clients.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT disciplines.
- Experience range from 0 to 2 years in a relevant role.
- Capability to communicate effectively with technical teams and management.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including 24/7 schedules.
- Ability to comply with established processes and policies.
- Strong work ethics and high integrity standards.
