Junior Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are searching for a meticulous and talented Junior Design Engineer to become part of our engineering division. The suitable candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in design engineering, capable of crafting engineering drawings, aiding product innovation, and collaborating seamlessly with various departments.

Core Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D engineering designs and technical drawings.
• Design products according to project criteria and client expectations.
• Adjust existing designs to enhance performance, quality, and manufacturability.
• Work jointly with production, quality assurance, and project management teams throughout development phases.
• Develop and update Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain all design-related records.
• Examine drawings to ensure precision and adherence to engineering guidelines.
• Assist in prototype creation, testing, and validating designs.
• Deliver assigned design tasks within established timeframes.

Qualification and Experience

• Possession of a Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Electrical engineering, or relevant disciplines.
• At least three years of professional experience in design engineering.
• Proficient in intermediate English communication.

Technical Skills

• Proficient using AutoCAD for design work.
• Experience with 3D CAD software like SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo preferred.
• Strong capability in both 2D and 3D design processes.
• Expertise in generating and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to create and manage Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Effective problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Adept at collaborating within team environments.

Work Schedule & Compensation

This role operates on a full-time day shift basis offering a fixed monthly salary between ₹25,000 and ₹35,000.
