Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing monitoring of participants’ job searches, offering guidance and support to tackle or prevent challenges.
  • Analyze regional employment trends and collaborate with Rehabilitation Support Specialists to align participants with fitting job openings.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with employers and community agencies to expand placement opportunities that enhance participant experiences and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the national Job Development team to foster employer relationships across regions.

  • Innovate and apply strategies to optimize job development procedures and participant results.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education credential in Business Administration, sales and marketing, or Human Resources (certificate, diploma, or degree).
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience, potentially including job development, employment counseling, customized employment, or supporting individuals with complex musculoskeletal or mental health conditions impeding civilian life.

  • Strong digital proficiency with case management systems, Microsoft Office, MS Teams, SharePoint, internet tools, social media platforms, and LinkedIn.
  • Proven collaborative skills in building trust and engaging diverse stakeholders for shared success.
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard PCVRS business hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm) to maintain employer and participant communications.
  • A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and readiness to travel as required.
  • Employment contingent upon successful federal Reliability Status security clearance.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary package.
  • Comprehensive and flexible health and dental benefit programs.
