Role Overview
Lead the enterprise IT Quality Assurance and Technology Delivery functions to guarantee secure, dependable, and timely technology solutions. Utilize effective quality engineering, governance, DevOps, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination to drive ongoing enhancements and operational excellence throughout the technology framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a comprehensive QA and testing strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop governance frameworks, enforce quality standards, and implement diverse testing methodologies.
- Guide functional, integration, system, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Promote quality engineering and early-phase (shift-left) testing techniques.
- Guarantee adherence to security, audit, regulatory, and IT governance policies.
- Analyze issues related to front-end configuration management experiences.
- Lead IT project delivery end-to-end, including software products, system deployments, and digital transformation projects.
- Manage project lifecycles from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
- Oversee release planning, scheduling, and readiness evaluations for production.
- Foster Agile and DevOps practices by automating development and testing workflows to enhance release cadence and quality.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize deployment pipelines and define relevant DevOps metrics.
- Implement enterprise-wide test automation strategies increasing coverage across web, mobile, APIs, and business applications.
- Deploy modern tools and frameworks to conduct performance, load, and security testing efforts.
- Maintain IT delivery governance, oversee risk management, and address quality-related challenges and technical debt.
- Conduct quality audits, delivery reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate delivery progress, quality indicators, risks, and advice to executives.
- Engage with business units to ensure IT delivery aligns with strategic goals.
- Supervise third-party vendors ensuring compliance with quality expectations and implement vendor risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) regulations, including establishing traceable signoff systems before production rollout.
- Prepare for regulatory inspections, audits, and IT governance readiness assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Eight to twelve years of pertinent experience in IT quality assurance and technology delivery.
- Preferred certifications: Enterprise Architecture credentials such as TOGAF and/or COBIT (highly desirable).
- Experience in project management is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Being a Saudi national is not required.
