Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated IT Support Officer to join our team. This full-time role is exclusively open to candidates eligible to work in Australia and offers the flexibility of working remotely. Ideal for entry to junior-level professionals, this opportunity enables you to contribute to seamless IT operations and provide dependable technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-line technical support for issues related to hardware, software, and systems.
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve problems involving operating systems, business applications, printers, and network connections.
- Support user account management, including password resets and access provisioning.
- Document, monitor, and resolve helpdesk tickets via the IT ticketing software.
- Conduct routine system updates, maintenance tasks, and security verifications.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance IT service quality and user satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic familiarity with Windows and macOS environments, as well as Microsoft 365 suite.
- Understanding of computer hardware components, networking basics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of operating systems, enterprise software, and foundational cybersecurity principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service.
- Enthusiastic about learning emerging technologies and working collaboratively.
- Must possess legal authorization to work within Australia.
