Role Overview
We are seeking an Investment Analyst to assist the senior investment team by managing portfolio data, creating performance evaluations, and ensuring that all analytic results are accurate and ready for senior leadership consideration. This is a remote contract opportunity based in the United Kingdom, offering $150 per hour with a workload ranging between 10 to 40 hours weekly.
Key Duties
- Cleanse, organize, and reconcile data related to holdings in both public and private investments.
- Collect and verify market data, company details, and benchmarking information.
- Compute performance indicators, risk measurements, and asset-class distributions.
- Assist in private company valuation and financial modeling tasks.
- Generate tables, charts, and visual aids for investment presentations.
Essential Qualifications
- Possess substantial relevant experience in investment analysis.
- Background in both Investment Banking and buy-side investment environments.
- Preferred experience in buy-side roles within Private Equity or Hedge Funds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly in financial modeling and handling large data sets.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and investment research.
